Congratulations on building a quality lens. Now you have to do a little work on promoting your new page.
When you log into your Squidoo account you will see your dashboard that features a list of all of the lenses you have built.
Each lens will have a page rank. This is how your lens ranks in the Squidoo community. All new lenses will usually have a rank somewhere
around 450,000 or so. Lowering this number increases your page rank in the Squidoo community resulting in more traffic to your lens.
One of the quickest ways to bring this number down and increase your page rank will be to Join Digg
a place for people to discover and share content from anywhere on the web. After joining spend a couple of hours getting familiar with how
Digg works. Digg is a very powerful tool for promoting your Squidoo lenses. If you have built a quality lens submit it to Digg. This will quickly
increase your Squidoo lens ranking and get ti noticed in the major search engines as well.
Let your friends and relatives know about your Squidoo lenses. Invite them them to join Squidoo and visit members pages.
If you have other websites or blogs be sure to link back to your Squidoo lenses and also use your Squidoo pages to link back to them.
Become an active member in the Squidoo community. Visit other members lenses and if you like them rate them with the five star rating system. Add them to your Squidoo
favorites. If you do this on a regular basis other Squidoo members will do the same for you. Squidoo gives you the tools and information you need to increase
the popularity of your lenses so don't be afraid to invest some time learning and practicing these methods.
